The CyberWary platform has been developed as part of a research project being undertaken by William P at the University of Greenwich.

CyberWary is the name given to this developed solution that aims to assist users of all technical ability levels in becoming more aware - more wary - of their cyber footprint and potential vulnerabilities when using their personal Windows Home devices.

The development of this platform commenced on the 30th of November 2021 and the first version of the application will be published by the 25th of April 2022 in line with the associated research project.

The platform and all captured data are hosted within a secured Tier 2/3 datacentre within the United Kingdom, specifically within the Isle of Dogs in Greater London.

Leaving your personal Windows Home device unsecured is catastrophic; from data destroying ransomware malware that exploits unpatched weaknesses in the base operating system to bots cycling through compromised passwords, there are many vectors that malicious actors can attack you as an individual. Your data, information and money could be at risk, so you need to be aware of your security footprint and take it seriously!
